Lots of fun stuff in this 78th installment! Dorsal won a Millennium RC Micro SSX from RCRN, I've got a mess of Mercury Adhesives to try out, and the PhlatBoyZ are GIVING away a PhlatPrinter MK3 kit! Also, I talk at length (don't I always? LOL) about some options for club Pylon Racing, including the Slipso 400 that I am currently building. On another note, if you are building your e-QSC from our Scratch-building Club, be sure you send me pics of your finished plane by August 15th so we can enter you in to our little giveaway of the motor and esc combo! This week we get to catch up with the PhlatBoyZ, Mark and Trish Carew, to learn of the progress on the latest PhlatPrinter design, the MK3. This new machine is getting very close in transition from prototype to final product, and the list of features is mind-boggling! A few things contributed to the name of this 76th show, but you'll have to give it a listen to understand the primary reason... The e-QSC project finally comes to a close this week with a total of thirteen videos shot and uploaded to YouTube, including the maiden flight of the low-winged 'sport' version. Have you been building along with me? If so, submit photos of your finished project to me (via email) by no later than August 15th, 2010. I'll post all photos received to AllThingsCrash so that our listeners can view them and vote for their favorite. If your plane is chosen as "Listener's Choice", I'll send you a motor and ESC (the ones I specified for use on this plane) for your next project! Due to plans with family and friends this weekend, I've decided to cancel this week's show. No worries, though - we'll be back next week with our normal RC chatter.
